The Bay to LA

March 31st, 2013-April 2nd, 2013 my mom, dad, and little brother went on a 'roadtrip' down to LA for a couple of days. On Easter sunday, my dad got baptized HALLELUJAH. My mom was ecstatic, tears can't even explain how happy she was.(: After service, we went to eat lunch with my grandma(dads side) Soon after our lunch we headed home to drop my dog off to a family friends house and off we drove to LA. The drive down from the Bay to LA was about a 5 and a half hr drive so it was pretty decent. Arriving there around 630pm we checked in at the Hilton in Beverly Hills right across from Universal Studios. We ate dinner in K-town (ofcourse) fresh sashimi(raw fish) and soju was on HIT MODE. 04/01/13 So the main reason why we came down to LA was to visit Universal Studios for the first time! I've been there when I was younger, but don't remember a thing. My brother, finally tall enough to go on the rides, was sh*tting his pants with excitement. LOL. I took him there from 10am-7pm, while my folks went to a korean style spa getting massages, facials, and a nice exfoliated scrub. I was jealous of my parents getting pampered but absolutely had a blast with my little brother. We got there early so not many people have arrived yet. We purchased a yr round pass. . .even though we don't even live in LA haha. My dad's friend hooked us up with 5 front of the line passes; which we really used for our benefit. First thing we did, well the first thing I did was purchase me and my boo bracelets engraved with our names in it.<3 Shortly after that, we headed to the Transformers ride!! at 10am the wait for that ride was 45min; but luckily we had our passes. We got on the ride within a minute of us getting to the attraction! Universal Studios really did show what talent they have. The 3-d was AMAZING. I kept flinching thinking that it was actually gonna hit me.:P We then rode Jurassic Park, the mummy, then ate lunch at Mels Diner, where I took a pic with Elvis!xP after that we decided to go on Tour of Universal Studios. We saw a shitload of stuff so I won't even mention that, but I got to see Wisteria Ln!!!! Went crazy over that. After the tour we rode the Transformer ride again, the mummy another two times, and also the Jurassic Park another three times. We then finished our day watching the Waterworld Show and then headed back to the hotel to go eat dinner. 04/02/13 My brother and I woke up early to go swimming, then got ready to go eat bfast; korean style. As we went to K-town for bfast, we soon headed towards the Chinese Theatre. We then went to Rodeo dr and the whole family decided to buy running shoes of all things at the nike store. lol. After that we went to eat lunch at K-town AGAIN and then went grocery shopping so we would have food when we got home that night. The ride back definitely seemed longer than it was coming down there. All and all, it was a great family trip, and can't wait to go somewhere tropical next time.<3
